BEAP electronic art

(exhibition, -present)

BEAP: The Biennale of Electronic Arts (BEAP) is a new media arts festival held every two years in Perth, Australia. Described as the “premiere electronic arts festival in the Asia Pacific region”, the first BEAP was held in 2002. The theme for the 2004 conference was ‘Same Difference’, exploring and interpreting the relationship between the virtual and the real and the reluctance to dispense with traditional means over the electronic. This website provides general information about the 2005 Biennale (‘BeapWorks’), whose activities cover exhibitions, performances, media streaming and conferences.
