APERTURE
Aperturethe premier not-for-profit arts institution dedicated to advancing fine photographywas founded in 1952 by six profoundly gifted individuals possessed of lofty ideals and high ambition: photographers Ansel Adams, Dorothea Lange, Barbara Morgan, and Minor White; historian Beaumont Newhall; and writer/curator Nancy Newhall. With scant resources, these prescient artists created a new periodical, Aperture magazine, to serve the medium, and photography users and fine art lovers worldwide.
For more than fifty years, Aperture magazine has been unrivalled in its excellence and critical acclaim. And, as photography and the medium grew, so too did the Aperture Foundation, expanding to include the subsequent publication of books, limited edition prints and portfolios, traveling exhibitions, and an educational program that includes lectures and panel discussions with artists, curators, and other key players in the field of photography. BLIND SPOT
Blind Spot Magazine is the international source book of photography-based fine art for artists, collectors, creative directors, designers, curators and art lovers. Blind Spot publishes new works by the world's most renowned artists and discovers vital new work by up-and-coming artists. The collaboration of the editors and the ideas expressed by the individual artists make each issue of Blind Spot emerge as a single work of art.
Thirteen years old, Blind Spot is the only publication in its niche that has gained the international reputation for being a visual magazine that does not talk about imagerythe content is imagery.
Museums and Galleries have been gleaning new work from Blind Spot since its premier issue. Many of today's respected artists were first seen on the pages of Blind Spot.
Blind Spot's uncompromising reproduction standards and elegant design have set precedence for other art magazines. The design is absolutely sensitive to its contents. The true force of Blind Spot is its passion for art, its understanding of the artists and its exquisite packaging of ideas.
Blind Spot is published three times a year; the U.S. cover price is $14 per copy. With a shelf life of four months, advertisers have a long exposure time. This is not a magazine for the recycling pile. Back issues are collectible!

RAW VISION
RAW VISION magazine is going from strength to strength. Founded in 1989 as a low budget twice-yearly journal it has now developed into a fully fledged, full colour, quarterly publication.
When French painter Jean Dubuffet first originated the concept of Art Brut in the 1940s, the art of the untrained visionary was very much a minority interest. From its almost secret and clandestine beginnings, Outsider Art has gradually become a major interest in today's contemporary art scene.
