<p>Rebeca Méndez is Professor at UCLA Design | Media Arts <br /> Department in Los Angeles, California, where she leads the ‘Brand Lab’, <br /> dedicated to the development of design research and strategy, in <br /> particular in the areas of organization, culture, and identity. The <br /> group studies how complex organizations are defined by their public <br /> identities, and how those identities can be strategized and designed. <br /> ,Rebeca Méndez Communication Design (RMCD) is a multidisciplinary studio <br /> focused on design for art, architecture and other cultural clients as <br /> well as for nonprofit organizations. RMCD’s practice is in various areas <br /> of design including brand identity strategy and design, architectural <br /> immersive spaces, interface design, way-finding systems, experience <br /> design and artists book design.<br /> <br /><br /><br /> RMCD’s clients include Caltech, MOCA, SFMOMA, Eyebeam Atelier, <br /> Architecture and Design Museum (A+D), The Guggenheim Museum in Berlin, <br /> The Getty Center, Microsoft, Sony, EDS, Imaginary Forces, Young & <br /> Rubicam, Thames & Hudson, Los Angeles Commission on Assaults Against <br /> Women, ARK Restaurants, Morphosis, and Hanover World Expo 2000.
