Sag Harbor, N.Y. Johnson mysteriously headed toward ñThe East Endî of Long Island on the morning of Jan. 13, 1995. He was last seen backstroking away from a bridge that evening in Sag Harbor, N.Y. Police called his death a suicide, and it has became apparent to his friends that he had been planning his death for some time. Johnson, who lived frugally, left no will, but had $400,000 in bank accounts. A surprised group of 10 first cousins inherited his estate.
