Portrait of the artist
Norwegian photographer Tørbjorn Rødland’s recent work (2001) explores how culture skews our interactions with nature, as well as the idea of environment as ‘setting.’ Rødland has exhibited his work extensively throughout Europe, including at the 1999 Venice Biennale, the Centre Pompidou, and the Rogaland Museum of Fine Arts.
