Originally from Denmark, Thomas Hylander has lived and worked in the UK since the autumn of 1997.
In Copenhagen, he started a cultural magazine and worked as its co-editor for a couple of years before going to Poland in the spring of 1997. Here he worked as a guest artist in the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and then on to England, where he completed a BA degree in Painting at Manchester Metropolitan University, 1999–2001…
