Stephen Hannock, following in the footsteps of venerated American “luminists” and landscapists, derives inspiration from the landscapes of the Berkshires and Western Massachusetts. Born in 1951, he attended Albany Academy, Trinity Pawling, Deerfield Academy, Bowdoin College, Smith College, and received his BA degree from Hampshire College.
