Robert Comblas est né en 1957 à Lyon. Il passe son enfance et son adolescence à Sète. Il est diplômé de l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Montpellier. Avec Hervé Di Rosa, il est l’instigateur de Ici « Figuration Libre » telle que l’a nommée Ben. Il vit et travaille à Paris…
