It was inevitable that she would become an artist. Painting since she first picked up a brush at age two, Neith Nevelson’s life and work have been shaped by the life of her legendary grandmother Louise Nevelson, perhaps the most important American sculptor of the twentieth century. Her father, Mike Nevelson, is a sculptor; her mother, Susan Nevelson, an artist and textile designer with whom she grew up in Florence, Italy.
