During his childhood Jaap Oudes, enjoyed relative
comfort. In fact he was his parents darling pet. Growing up in a more or
less sheltered family circle, Jaap was able to give his imagination free
rein, nothing disturbing the peace and quiet. And so, with endless
patience, his unique and original drawings came into being.
