IVAN GRUBANOV’S PERFORMANCE IN FRONT OF BELGRADE’S NATIONAL PARLIAMENT (14 APRIL 2006)
Born in Belgrade in 1976 and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade in painting. He has exhibited since 1997 and works in video art, photography, installation and multimedia. His work has been shown in Yugoslavia, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Italy, Netherlands, South Africa and Israel. Grubanov draws and publishes comics in independent magazines and newspapers in Serbia, Belgium and Italy. He has won several prizes for graphic design. In 2002 and 2003 Grubanov has been based in Amsterdam at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten on a bursary from the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
