Igor was born in Orenburg, Russia, in 1937. In 1954-1959, he studied in the 1905 School of Fine Arts in Moscow. In 1962-1966, he participated in the restoration of frescos and icons in the Moscow Kremlin and in Novgorod. In 1971, he began to work as a sculptor. In 1976, Igor immigrated to France where in 1979-1986 he published A-Ya, a magazine devoted to unofficial art in the USSR…
