Portrait of a Woman

Painter. He was a pupil of Henrik Papp at the School of Design. He travelled to Berlin, America and Rome. In his early period, he painted impressionistic plein air pictures and futuristic expressionistic pictures in his later period.

Because Scheiber’s paintings conflicted with academic style of the Hungarian art establishment, his work was virtually ignored in his own country…
