Five, even if it seemed dim, you decided not to take your shoes off before the big leap. The air embraces your body until it hits your chin and unintentionally you bite your airborne tongue. As you slapped against the cold water, it were as if you imprinted yourself on fresh cement. Four, .as you penetrate, a slow oncoming orgasm draws you into a zone where the boundaries between violence and passion converge and fade. You reveal a bestial energy that was imprisoned within you all along. Three, as you sink and hover with joy, Awaiting the unknown, impatient yet withdrawn... it were as if you were that lobster in the restaurant just waiting to be chosen. Two, you have reached rock bottom. Finally you stopped thinking One, your heart stops The show starts at zero as if caught in a snapshot of glitter, streamers, dusty baloons and pieces of flying broken glass, consumed exactly in that moment of total crisis where all is briefly suspended and collapsing simultaneously. Throughout magical and dirty gestures, Daniel Habif Cohen offers us a joyous cacophony of barely controlled chaos. In his latest paintings, drawings and sculptures he experiments with irony the possibility of a souls reincarnation in the form of ART. This curious ensemble questions what a hopeless artifact can and cannot evoke in the immune system of the viewer, and this in the face of a moment in time in which the only certainty is that nothing is certain.
