Several times in recent years Bjarne Melgaard has been threatened with censorship at his exhibitions. He works consistently in the borderland between what is generally threatening and the ethically unacceptable. His projects is often but deeply personal studies of the taboos that society has ascribed to the unmentionable acts that take place in various homosexual sub-cultures.
