Allard van Hoorn creates a visual language made of signs, symbols and demarcations that indicate alternative routes in contemporary society. It is a visual code he co-develops with people he works with in all parts of the world and, specifically, in local communities.
Inviting a variety of cultural producers to participate in this mobile platform and research facility for investigating the urban environment through mobile electronic means this initiative will surface in many different locations and forms like workshops, publications, residencies and exhibitions.
These projects investigates the way see our lives and possibilities. Duct tape is used to create different architectural forms in the public space. The objective is to stimulate a different way of looking. Cross-disciplinarity is one of the keys to discover alternatives and solutions towards a better distributed system of cohabitation on our planet.
