Alfredo Rapetti nasce a Milano nel 1961. Giovanissimo, attraverso il nonno materno Alfredo de Pedrini (Presidente dell’Associazione Arti Grafiche) conosce e frequenta molti pittori milanesi degli anni 60-70 e inizia a dipingere. A sedici anni frequenta per due anni la scuola del Fumetto a Milano collaborando con fanzine, giornali liceali e universitari. Negli anni seguenti dipinge in modo discontinuo cambiando tecniche e stili. Nel 96 è invitato dai maestri Alessandro Algardi e Mario Arlati, a condividere il loro studio in via Nota con cui lavora proficuamente per quattro intensi anni. Nel 98 inizia a collaborare con il grande fotografo Fabrizio ferri a una serie di progetti multimediali. Dal 1999 espone in numerose mostre personali e collettive in Italia e all’estero. Dal 2004 fa parte del gruppo europeo "Signes et traces" fondato a Parigi dal maestro Riccardo Licata. Nel 2005 vince il Premio per la pittura Provincia di Roma. Dal 2000 è oggetto di moltissimi articoli e pubblicazioni tra cui sette libri monografici dedicati alla sua opera.
La pittura come voce dell’anima, dell’uomo, della sua storia, questo è lo spirito dell’opera di Alfredo Rapetti (Milano, 1962) che espone per la prima volta a Palermo in una personale “La voce del mistero”…
