Through Elementary, she earned many art competitions working with modeling clay, and with that, a scholarship to go to college. She graduated with a BFA in 1985 and a MFA in 1990. Since 17, she was an art instructor for several institutions and for public schools; amongst those,Magisterio Nacional, La Universidad Veracruzana and El Instituto Veracruzano de Cultura.

The five new paintings presented in the exhibition have never been shown before, and now become part of the Collection. As is often the case with de Balincourt, the paintings were all worked on at the same time, in the same studio, allowing them to gradually come into dialogue with one another as a direct result of his studio practice.

The artworks are part of the Collezione Maramotti and were acquired by collector Achille Maramotti at the time when they were first exhibited. Irretrievably, I immersed into the darkest corners of spiritual destructiveness of a human being in hope to describe it, to stay for a while. Humbleness of those who suffer captured my sensibility. I resist nit, I seek for the way out. My images tried to be a message, no one replied. Now, they are just a scream and I am not sure anyone can hear it.
