Diederik Boyen He is more than once a new Borremans said, and rightly so. Boyen's work is intriguing by the sober palette, the intensity of the seeming simplicity of his subjects and the hidden symbolism. Boyen's work adheres to the retina and forces the viewer to think stilled. The titles give an impetus to the internal dialogue between viewer and object. Boyen provides direction by asking questions, but leaves it to the individual viewer to fill in the answers. Galerie Ludwig Trossaert Exhibition 4 november - 26 november 2011 Antwerp, Belgium |
